When I came home from work last Friday, this camera was lying on the ground next to the elevator. There is only one other room on my floor, and I know it's used as a short-term hotel type of deal so I assumed someone staying in that room, maybe the kids I saw fucking around in the hallway on Wednesday, had left it behind by accident. I left the apartment to run some errands and when I returned, I took a photo of the discarded camera so I could google it and ascertain its value. Once I realized it was a very celebrated point and shoot analog camera, I took it and made it mine. Right away I wanted to power it on and see what it was capable of, and also view previous photos to get an idea of who its former owners were. But there was no battery or film roll inside, and it's not possible to view past photos on an analog camera anyway. Second photo roll

This morning I headed straight to Brooklyn Bridge instead of work, and missed a meeting with my manager in the process but it's all good. In the afternoon I crossed Manhattan Bridge and headed to the lab to pick up my negatives from my first roll and drop off this second roll. So this second roll is exclusively Brooklyn and the area near the two bridges! Don't remember the precise type of film but it costed 7.99 and it's C-41 black and white. Highlights: I'm really happy with the sharpness of these shots compared to the first batch. I think the sharpness of these shots were an improvement over the last because this batch was mostly taken in daylight, whereas the last batch was mostly taken during the nighttime. Honestly, I feel like shooting at sunset or later is a huge risk since I tried yesterday at Washington street and the results (without tripod and night flash) were truly awful.
